returns as Estrofest opens fourth season ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Popular sketch-comedy troupe EstroFest returns to the stage for its fourth season on March 28, presenting all-new, all-original material. This will be the first local public appearance since the troupe performed Off-Broadway and in Toronto last summer. While performing for two weeks at the Toronto International Theater Fringe Festival, EstroFest earned four stars from the Toronto Star, which also ranked the troupe second among the more than 120 festival acts. brings its hilarity to Off-Broadway ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Sketch-comedy troupe EstroFest has been selected to headline and host a night of comedy at the Off-Broadway 45 Bleecker Theatre on Tuesday, Aug. 6. The event is part of the "Women Center Stage" series being presented in July and August by New York City-based The Culture Project. The five-member EstroFest will perform a one-hour show at 8 p.m. and then host the remainder of the evening, which will star New York City's hottest female stand-up comedians. The troupe recently completed its third season of all-original work and a week of performances at the Toronto Theatre Fringe Festival in early July. selected for Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Sketch-comedy troupe EstroFest announced today its selection as one of only nine international theater groups performing this summer at the Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival, July 3 through 14, 2002. More than 100 theater groups are selected to participate in the international festival in Ontario, Canada, with the majority chosen from the Ontario region.
