The members of EstroFest are Dresden D. Engle, Allison Roberts, Freyda Schneider, Andrea Holland, Norma Holland, and Marlena Gaby-Dater. These entertaining women write, produce, direct, and perform all of their sketches and videos. Their work is reminiscent of such comedic legends as Gilda Radner, Lily Tomlin, and Carol Burnett. EstroFest first took the stage in February 1999, immediately met with standing ovations, standing-room-only audiences, and critical acclaim. The troupe has performed in Rochester, Off-Broadway and in Toronto, earning four stars from the Toronto Star ("Hugely funny, one act you won't soon forget!"). EstroFest formed in 1998, the brainchild of Allison Roberts, who had an epiphany after witnessing a group of women laughing together on the street. In Rochester alone, more than 20,000 audience members have experienced EstroFest's unique brand of humor.
